Interpreting Policy

If English is not your first language we can arrange someone to interpret the consultation for you.

  • If you are attending a pre-booked appointment we can arrange to have an interpreter to be with you. Please ask for this when booking your appointment.
  • If you have to cancel or change an appointment please let us know as soon as possible so we can cancel the interpreter and not be charged.
  • If you have come to a ‘Sit and Wait’ appointment we can arrange an interpreter to talk with you by phone.

If you are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and need an interpreter please inform us when booking or as soon as you know you need to come to one of our services so that we can arrange the support you need.
